Yung-Ming Ling, CPA Tax Manager yling@rina.com  Ling re-joined RINA in February 2008 and is presently a Tax Manager in the Oakland office. Originally from Singapore, he received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Christian University, TX in 1998. In addition he has 2 Master's degrees with emphasis in Accounting and Taxation respectively. He was previously with the firm for five years before returning to Singapore for two and a half years. During that time he worked as an assistant manager for the international tax advisory unit in KPMG Singapore and also as the regional tax manager for GE Commercial Financing covering various Asia Pacific jurisdictions. He is also a lecturer at California State University, East Bay teaching international taxation issues. Experience During Ling's first five years with the firm, he supervised audit, review and compilation engagements as well as served as the in-charge accountant on complex multi-state returns. He has gained valuable experience in all areas of taxation, with an added emphasis on business returns and international tax issues.
Ling is on the Singapore National Team for Judo and recently won the Championship which qualified him for the Southeast Asian Games.
